The Ghost of the Universe

The Ghost of the Universe

What is it that holds the stars together in galaxies?
What is the Universe made of?
What makes the Universe appear as we see it today?
We know that about a quarter of all the mass in the Universe is made of a mysterious glue, Dark Matter.
We know it’s there, but we don’t know what it’s made of.
In this full-dome video we will enter one of the most important dilemmas for contemporary astrophysics. We will see why dark matter exists and how physicists are searching for it, between
experiments in space and in the depths of the Earth.
